I would have posted a picture of my kids sleeping in the previous blog because the book I quoted "While They Were Sleeping" talks about moms praying for kids while they are asleep. Well, I don't really have pictures of them sleeping b/c it's not a normal event. And when they do sleep (mainly at night now-and rarely all night) we are usually not too far behind them! It's a sweet little book though and we are definitely doing our best to pray for them without ceasing...anyone that knows us (especially who knew either one of us growing up) knows we have good reason to pray. :) God never ceases to amaze me with life!
All is well at the Arthur home. We are just waiting to hear when the military is moving us into different housing on base. It's suppose to be sometime in the next month, so our address will be changing once again. Hoping to be moved by April, BEFORE the next baby comes. And after the long crazy day I had today with our wild, non-stop one and two year olds - I'm thinking the baby is just fine where he is for the time being. Any "nanny's" that would like to come visit this summer...bring it on!!!
Hope all is well with you and yours. Love, Priscilla for the Arthurs
Make a joyful noise to the Lord, all the earth! Serve the LORD with gladness! Come into His presence with singing! Know that the LORD, He is God! It is He who made us, and we are His; we are His people, and the sheep of His pasture. Enter His gates with thansgiving, and His courts with praise! Give thanks to Him; bless His name! For the LORD is good; His steadfast love endures forever, and His faithfulness to all generations. Psalm 100

Humility
Humility
Excerpt from book "While They Were Sleeping" by Anne Arkins & Gary Harrell
Humility is thinking more highly of others than yourself...
“Do nothing out of selfish ambition or vain conceit, but in humility consider others better than yourselves. Each of you should look not only to your own interests, but also to the interests of others.” Philippians 2:3-4 (NIV)
Prayer Focus for your family:
Heavenly Father, You allowed Your only Son to humble Himself and become our servant. He did nothing out of selfish ambition or self-importance. May we likewise humbly consider others to be better than ourselves. Give us the sensitivity to see beyond our own interests to what is important for those around us.

Thoughts <><
How precious is Your lovingkindness O God! And the children of men take refuge in the shadow of Your wings. They drink their fill of the abundance of Your house; And You give them to drink of the river of Your delights. For with You is the fountain of life; in Your light we see light.
Psalm 36:7-9
I read this Psalm today and these verses just stuck out.
Maybe it too will bring some light and encouragment, hope and joy into your life & day today! :)
"The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy;
I (Jesus) came that they may have life and have it abundantly." John 10:10
Thankful for these gifts of life too!!!

The Arthur's at Poppops and G-Mama's House on Christmas

Thanks for being Santa and spoiling the Grandbabies! (and us:)) and for another wonderful Christmas together
Christmas Morning at Virginia Beach. Izzie just opened her pink boots and is watching her brother dig in and is wondering 'what's going on??!'
Lil D knew what was going on...he didn't want to stop opening presents (especially after visiting the Grandparents...and he still talks about wanting presents! The opening was the best part and didn't pay to much attention to what was inside. ha)
(Thanks mamaw and papaw..the tractor is still kickin!)
Hope you all enjoyed the holidays and we hope to see you sometime this year!
Much Love, The Arthurs

Thank you Mamaw Vickie and Aunt Jill for watching the kids so I could attend this! Between you both, David's support, and the military helping to provide the finances, I was able to go and have an awesome weekend. God worked out all the details and it was a very special "get-away" with many "God moments". I am so thankful for God and for His provision, grace, and love.
